The coaches who supervise our competitive and recreational programs are Safety Certified by USA Gymnastics. Proper coach education is very important to us at SoLa. Each coach takes an oath to provide fun, positive, and quality instruction.

Eric Robles dedicated 10 years of his life to competitive gymnastics achieving Texas State and Regional Championship competition. Eric began coaching in 2009 at Rudder High School in Bryan, Texas. There he was an assistant coach for the team and coached them to their first State Championship Title. He coached several Texas High School State Champions in both individual events as well as All-Around. In 2011, Eric moved to Lafayette where he took on a Head Coach position. Eric has coached Louisiana State and Regional Champions on all 6 men’s gymnastics events as well as All-Around Louisiana State and Regional Champions. Eric has also coached at the Junior Olympic National Championships.
Eric graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Speech Communication and Minor in Sociology. He then went on to complete his Masters of Education, Curriculum and Instruction in 2009.


Mandi Hebert has 28 years of experience in the gymnastics industry. She dedicated 16 years of her life to competitive gymnastics, reaching Level 10. She won multiple Louisiana State Championships and also won the beam and floor regional championships in North Carolina. She went on to compete for Louisiana State University in 2001 on the vault.
She graduated from LSU in 2004 with a B.A. in History and minor degree in Mass Communication. She began her coaching career in 2001 and has experience teaching mommy and me, preschool, tumbling, recreational and competitive gymnastics. She also has experience coaching competitive Levels 1-8 and has coached several Mississippi and Louisiana State Champions. She also has over 10 years of dance experience, including two years performing in The Nutcracker, 3 years as a competitive dancer and two years teaching ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop to kids ages 6-16.​
Mandi is also certified to judge competitive gymnastics competitions for Levels 1-5.
