COMMUNICATING WITH OUR STAFF:

INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSINGS:
1. In the event that the gym must be closed due to inclement weather, we will email, text, and post on facebook about the details of the closure.
2. If your child is already at practice and weather causes us to end practice early, we will contact you via text and/or phone call to pick up your child. Please be sure to have a current phone number in our system.
ENROLLMENT RELATED QUESTIONS:
1. How long is a session?
Our Fall Session includes August - December; Spring Session includes January - May; Summer Session includes June - July
2. Do you charge the full tuition even if my child doesn't attend a full month, such as Holidays etc.
Yes, however, if your child misses a class they can make it up.
3. Do you have makeup classes?
Yes, you can makeup a class that you have missed, as long as we have that same class on a different day. Just email or call and we can arrange a makeup class.
4. What does my child need to wear to class?
For girls: One piece leotards. We do not allow two piece leotards for the safety of the gymnasts. For boys: t shirt and shorts. We have cubbies in the gym for their shoes. We have leotards for sale in the Pro-Shop in the office.
5. Do you have FREE trial classes?
Yes, you can try out a class before you register. Email us at, Solagym@gmail.com, and let us know you would like to come try out a class.
6. I'm not sure what class to enroll my child in?
The best way to find out what class to enroll your child in is to have him/her evaluated by a coach. That will help us determine what class to enrol her/him in. Email us at, Solagym@gmail.com or call us 337-422-7077.
7. Do you have classes over the Holidays?
Our recreational and tumbling classes are not in session during holidays. We follow Lafayette Parish School System Holiday Schedule and will notify you via email and our facebook page about the Holiday Closures.
8. My child is 2, but is turning 3 next month. Can I enroll him/her in the preschool class now?
We have a strict policy that states that a child must be 3 at the time of enrollment for our preschool classes. For kids 18 months-3 years, we have a Mommy and Me class. Email solagym@gmail.com for more information.
WHAT IS THE PARENT PORTAL?
Parent Portal allows parents the option of making payments online, view their account, register for an event, review our policies, view your child's class schedule, send us a drop or add a student request and send us emails.
WHAT IS PARENT WATCH WEEK?
Parent Watch Week is where we invite parent's to come watch their child(ren), during their regulary scheduled classes, show off their new skills that they learned toward the end of each session.
PAYMENT RELATED QUESTIONS:
1. Do you have to sign a contract?
Yes, our contracts are for our sessions: Fall, Spring, Summer
2. What are your sessions?
We have 3 sessions:
Fall Session - August - December
Spring Session - January - May
Summer Session - June - July
3. Is there a fee for leaving before the session ends?
No, however when you enroll your child, you agree to pay tuition untill the end of the session. You will be charged tuition until the end of the session or until another student takes the place of your child's spot.
4. How much of a notice do I need to give SoLa Gymnastics to pull my child out early?
We require a 30 day notice.
